What do I do if there is a fecal accident in the pool?

Fecal contamination of pool or spa water can cause serious illness. Ingestion of contaminated water while swimming, inhalation of water vapor above the surface, and body contact through open wounds while swimming can result in the transmission of a variety of diseases. Immediately have the swimmers exit the water and then follow Four Seasons Pool Service, Inc., Fecal Removal and Treatment Guidelines.

Why is my pool dirty after it is vacuumed?

The problem may be with the filter or the backwash valve (if equipped with one).   The problem varies with the type of filter you have.   If it's a D.E. filter you may have a damaged grid or if the cause is the backwash valve, you may be missing an O-ring on the valve stem assembly.  Give us a call and we can diagnose the problem for you.

Why is my pump making loud noises?

There are several reasons why this can be occurring.  The pump motor bearings are failing and the motor needs to be rebuilt or replaced.  There could be a partially blocked suction line causing pump noise in the way of cavitation.  The pump could also be oversized for the application causing the pump noise.  Give us a call and we can diagnose the problem for you.

How can I go green and save on energy costs with my pool equipment?

Installation of a variable speed pump can save you up to 50% of your energy costs per year.
